| “Sol-Na Mara” - “Glimpse of the Sea” Fox Point, Bay of Fundy, Nova Scotia An award-winning and highly famed house in Fox Point, 10 miles west of Parrsboro on the beautiful Bay of Fundy Shore is now available. Designed and built in 1993 by renowned Nova Scotia architect Keith L. Graham, it is an architectural gem and a unique blend of art, style and beauty. Mr. Graham grew up in this area and the existing family home provided the seed building for the new structure which is very much in the vernacular of early houses on the Fundy Shore. |

| The house with Palladian overtones is an open landscape with the approach road looking
straight out at Cape Split. The dwellings stand on 10 acres of sensitively landscaped land,
exquisite gardens, fruit trees and berry bushes. The whisper of trees mingles with drifts of
sea air to celebrate the grace of seaside living. Garden plots are available for organic gardening -
apple, pear and plum trees as well as grapevines have been planted, blueberries and other
wild berries abound in the area.

| Energy consciousness, environmental concern and love of the earth were essential elements
applied in the design of the Graham House. For example: “Sol-Na-Mara” has been designed on a North-South axis to take advantage of the sun angles, which have an angle of incidence in this quadrant of 22 ˝ degrees at its low point rising to 67 ˝ degrees at its high point in the summer. This axis is also good for prevailing winds, which are northwest in the cold months and southwest from April through September. Hence, fenestration has been planned around the sun, wind and views to all quadrants. |

| The many windows and doors invite sunlight and air deep within the house.
Curvilinear walls and linkages create space modulation. Open loft spaces in the east and
west wing have access to the upper deck from which the tides of the Fundy can be viewed.
The living room opens into a curved lower deck.
An additional galley kitchen services the east wing, which can provide privacy when desired. The house has several guest rooms and a large office and library storage room with separate means of access. The family/dining room can accommodate large family dinners. The main house offers a delightful blend of 4874 sq. ft. of spacious, light filled rooms and living comfort. |
